Ian sold his first painting in the 1940’s – a portrait of a Mediums’ spirit guide for a friend of his Mum – and has never looked back. Entirely self taught he has painted a wide variety of subjects in a wide variety of media though with a strong preference for working in Acrylic.
He has exhibited in many local exhibitions e.g. the Friends of the Horniman Art Exhibition and Lewisham and Bromley Art Societies.
